Family Day was an opportunity to meet and greet family members of the employees of Bath Iron Works. Safety Operations and the BIW Fire Department had educational videos for viewing and fire/safety tips and items for the home. The children received balloons (and if you’re like me, you probably remember the chocolate!). It was great day and a fun way to think about fire safety and personal safety in general.
