Application Instructions: All SSSC-SAAR applications must be submitted via fax or mail. Email submission is not permmitted at this time. Part I: The applicant must complete Part I as well as blocks 13, 22, 24, 25, 26, 27, 29, 30, and 31. In addition, applicants who are contractors must complete blocks 13a and 13b. Part II: If the applicant is a contractor, Part II must be completed by the government sponsor. If the applicant is a government employee his/her supervisor must complete Part II. Part III: The applicant's security department must complete Part III. Note: Contractors must include a valid Joint Certification Program (JCP) number and expiration date. Part IV: BIW and the Navy Data Owner will complete Part IV of every application.
