Full Service Support Operations
One of our most important jobs as a Navy Shipbuilder is to keep our customer's ships at sea longer, and at less cost. Our Surface Ship Support Center is the hub of our life cycle support activities. The key to its success is a talented pool of BIW men and women who learned their skills in new construction, while working for the DDG and FFG planning yards, during Post Shakedown Availabilities, or performing engineering work for Fleet Services.
As well as the core personnel at SSSC in Brunswick, ME, we have offices in major Navy homeports:
