Detailed Description of Work:

· Position reports to Director, Advanced Warfare Concepts

· Function as new business manager liaison with Navy program sponsors and potential industry team partners

· Maintain contacts and lines of communications with Navy executive program sponsors and Flag level officers with regard to potential business opportunities and emerging programs

· Analyze current presidential budget submission and FYDP for potential business opportunities

· Attend symposium and conferences related to potential new shipbuilding programs and represent company interests in these areas

· Function as GD marine working group team member and occasionally as team leader in joint new business pursuits

· Develop new marketing concepts based on core business product offerings, determine product trade space, and competitive gap analysis

Qualifications for Position:

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field required, or minimum 15 years program management experience required

· Broad knowledge and experience of naval vessel engineering, design, acquisition and programming

· Experienced with USN fleet operations and Joint Task Force operations preferred

· Outstanding oral and written communication skills and organizational skills

· Demonstrated leadership qualities

· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
