Senior Project Manager

Detailed Description of Work:

Provide estimating support for the DDG 1000 Program for cost analysis and proposal preparation to include:

· Cost analysis to support design trade studies

· Coordinate and manage small projects

· Develop and negotiate estimating standards

· Develop and maintain computer estimating models

· Prepare labor and material estimates for Navy and other new work

· Provide leadership with other members on the estimating team

Qualifications for Position:

· Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred

· Demonstrated, successful experience in project management required

· Previous experience estimating design and construction costs for new ship designs preferred

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills required

· Excellent PC skills required

· Strong communication skills required

· Strong understanding of financial issues required

· Good understanding of contractual issues required

· Be able to work in a professional office environment, as well as periodically visit the production environment

· Available for business travel
