Detailed Description
of Work:
A non-supervisory Financial
Analyst position in the Materials Division responsible for providing financial
analysis in support of material EAC process, material spend plan and complex material
acquisitions.

Coordinate the activities and provide
leadership in the Type A, B and C EAC process on a quarterly basis
·
Participate in Procurement fact-finds
as Cost Analyst
·
Develop financial analysis to support
negotiations of complex procurements and support the buyers in negotiating the
subcontracts
·
Assist in the development of the 5 year
material spend plan
·
Interface with other BIW departments to
resolve issues affecting material EAC
·
Utilize the BIW Material Control System
(BMCS) and its various P/C applications
·
Develop material cost estimates in
support of new business opportunities
·
Support management meetings as required
·
Support financial reviews of suppliers
as required
Qualifications for
Position:
·
Undergraduate degree in Finance,
Business or other related discipline required
·
3 years of Project Management
experience.
·
Proven ability to effectively interface
and communicate internally and with other BIW departments
·
Excellent verbal and written
communication skills required
·
General working knowledge of the
Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) and
general business accounting
·
Proven ability to evaluate, negotiate
and prepare price/cost analysis independently
·
Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills
required
