Reached 35.5 knots on trials. Complement of 9 officers and 264 enlisted. Assigned to the Pacific for World War II. Decommissioned June 25,1946 and to reserve. Converted to anti-submarine warfare escort and reclassified DDE-507 March 26,1949. Recommissioned November 8,1950. Reverted to DD-507 June 30,1962. Stricken from the United States Navy List November 15,1969 and sunk as a target June 26,1970.
