BUREAU OF SHIPPING (ABS) CERTIFICATE: a. The material on this P.O. is subject to the
requirements of the American Bureau of Shipping Naval Vessel Rules
(NVR). The applicable version
of NVR is ABS Guide for Building and Classing Naval Vessels dated 15 July
2004. b. Compliance with these requirements includes
obtaining all required documentation from ABS (approvals, certifications, certificates, qualifications
etc.), and furnishing the same to the Buyer. c. Applicable ABS-approved
exceptions to the NVR are project peculiar, and will be provided by the
seller to the Buyer. d. The Seller shall contact the ABS Government
Operations Office, (703-519-0801) for access to NVR and for
assistance in interpretation
of NVR requirements applicable to the Seller’s product(s). |
