The Maine Rotary is seeking 40 volunteers (they can be family members of BIW employees) to stand on the field before the game to hold flags that will later be flown over the Maine Mall in honor of Maine Veterans. \nIf you and/or your family are interested in supporting the Flags for Heroes ceremony\, click here. You MUST purchase the ticket to be part of the ceremony. If you elect to participate\, Patrick Sence will reach out to you directly with the logistical information for the ceremony. \nBIW families are also welcome to come down to the field to run the bases and take a group picture before the National Anthem. During the song\, we need volunteers to hold the American Flag. If you are interested in these opportunities\, you must be at the field by noon.

SUMMARY:BEST Boston Red Sox Bus Trip
DESCRIPTION:Take a trip down to Boston with fellow shipbuilders and their families to see the Red Sox take on the Pittsburgh Pirates at Fenway Park on Saturday\, August 30! \nCombined tickets for the round-trip ride on the Northeast Charter & Tour bus and the game will be $68 each. Seating is limited\, so a raffle will be held to see who will be able to buy tickets. The Employee Store will process payment through payroll deduction. No refunds after Wednesday\, August 27. \nThe bus leaves the BIW Technology Center at 7:30 a.m. and is scheduled to arrive at Faneuil Hall at 10:30 a.m. It departs for Fenway at 2:30 p.m. with the game starting at 4:10 p.m. The bus returns to the Tech Center around 10 p.m. Schedule is subject to change. \nClick here to sign up for the raffle.
