The City Council held a public hearing on discontinuance of the eastern end of Fisher Court as part of the shipyard’s parking improvements in that location and a separate public hearing on a request by BIW for a temporary use permit to use the Transporter Road area for parking while the lot reconstruction and garage construction projects are underway.
The Transporter Road request is to use the existing road as-is for a limited number of vehicles with no new access to Washington Street.
