Community College Training
Manufacturing Technician Course
Those who take this course offered at Southern Maine Community College will learn technical skills such as blueprint reading, hand and power tool operation, oxy cutting, tack welding, drilling, fastening, technical math, lifting and material handling, operation of air tools and more. Earn while you learn with a weekly attendance incentive.
Marine Designer Course
This Southern Maine Community College no-cost program will equip you with the skills to become a marine designer, which include 3D modeling & visualization, electronically drafting installation & fabrication drawings, developing ship alteration drawings for repair/alteration of ships in the fleet, extracting computer-aided manufacturing data, and more!
