More than 50 shipbuilders gathered at the Shipway Conference Center on July 16 to be celebrated for their years of service with the company.
Shipbuilders marking five, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years with BIW enjoyed pizza and cake while a video showed photos from each of those hiring years. President Chuck Krugh then presented each with a coin reflecting their years of service and were thanked by members of the Senior Leadership Team.
Employees with 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 years with the company will be honored at a dinner reception in October.
