About Bath, Maine

Bath, Maine

Bath is located forty minutes from Lewiston and Maine’s largest city, Portland, and is approximately 2.5 hours from Boston.

The area along the Kennebec River where the City of Bath is located has long been home to shipbuilding. This charming and historic city has preserved many of its brick buildings and walks. The downtown area, steps from BIW’s main shipyard, offers unique dining experiences, a variety of shops, several parks and the waterfront.
