Happy and Safe Fourth of July Holiday

As we approach the Fourth of July holiday weekend, it’s a great time to be mindful about safety. This can be one of the most dangerous holidays. The fireworks and festivities that accompany Independence Day at home or at camp create conditions that can lead to injury, especially since we don’t routinely handle fireworks.

Let’s make sure to keep safety in mind as we look forward to time with family and friends on the water or other outside recreational activities. As I said during my all hands meetings when I arrived, your personal safety is paramount, and that doesn’t stop at the gate.

Let’s keep an eye out for each other so we can all have an accident-free Fourth.

Have a great holiday weekend and get some rest – you deserve it.
